2010 Events

Copper Beech and Dragonsmead are once again teaming up to put together a production sale, CopperDragon II Sale. It will be at Sebring Stables on May 8, 2010.

Harry Sebring, Manager of the sale states, "I am honored to be asked, once again, to manage the CopperDragon II Sale. Both Dragonsmeade and Copper Beech continue to advance their respective breeding programs with their commitment to excellence and to improvement year after year. I believe these are two of the leading breeding programs in the country both in terms of size and, more importantly, quality.

In planning the Sale, Dragonsmeade and Copper Beech had the
objective of building on the success of 2007’s CopperDragon I Sale
by offering a selection of horses whose quality at least equaled
that of 2007. After reviewing their choices, I believe the offerings of CopperDragon II exceed that standard. The Sale offerings will appeal to a wide range of horse people. From top to bottom, the horses are quality individuals. From finished show horses to young prospects to bloodstock, this Sale has something that will interest you.

We hope everyone will have a good time whether they buy a horse or not. Winter is over and it’s a good time to visit with old friends, and make some new ones. But pay attention! Show season has started so do not miss out on buying your next World Champion or the horse of your dreams!"

2010 is now underway. It is a new year and a new beginning. We have mixed emotions as we share with you that Amy Neifert is no longer with us. She has been a very important part of our success. Amy worked with us for 20 years and is like a family member. She has moved to Michigan to work with her boyfriend Page Champion, who is a Saddlebred Trainer. We wish her much success and happiness. Sebring Stables and the Morgan community will miss her a lot.
